When to call us
The crash-free rate drops with every release.
The Crashlytics or Sentry reports keep growing, and nobody knows which commit introduced what.
Cold start takes several seconds on Android.
The app opens fast on the CTO’s iPhone and drags on your users’ phones. Without measurements on real devices, there is no way to prioritize.
Every fix breaks something else.
The code has no boundaries: a local change ripples everywhere, and PRs stay open for weeks.
The upgrade is stuck.
Several React Native versions behind, unmaintained libraries, and a Podfile nobody dares to touch.
The app was generated too fast.
A prototype out of Cursor, Bolt or Rork became a product. It has users, but no architecture and no tests.
You inherited an app from a vendor.
The code arrived without documentation, the team that wrote it is gone, and you have to decide what to do with it.
02
How it runs
1 / Day 1
Access and intake
Read access to the repo, the stores, the crash reports and the CI. The engineer reads the Git history, the open issues, the ADRs if any, and asks the team a first round of questions.
2 / Days 2–4
Profiling on a production build
Cold start, navigation, lists, network requests, bundle size, on real phones. Review of the architecture, the dependencies, the security and the release pipeline.
3 / Day 5
Written diagnosis, three pages max
Risks ranked by impact, fixes to make first, costed options. A walkthrough with your team, questions included.
4 / Week 1
Scope and format agreed
If you decide to go on, scope and timeline are agreed in week 1: one senior, a pair or a squad, depending on what the diagnosis showed.
03
What you get
- Written diagnosis, three pages maximum
- Risks ranked by impact and effort
- Performance measurements on a production build
- Dependency review and upgrade path
- Costed options, from stabilization to takeover
- Walkthrough with your team

Common questions
How much does a React Native app audit cost?
The format is fixed: five days, one senior. The price depends on the size of the app and the number of platforms and repos to cover. We set it after a 30-minute call, before starting. The diagnosis then prices whatever comes next.
What access do you need?
Read access to the repo, the crash reports and the CI, plus a production build or the means to make one. We sign your NDA before any access. Nothing in your repo is modified during the audit.
Does the audit commit us to working with you afterwards?
No. The diagnosis is yours. You can hand it to your team, to another vendor, or ask us to carry on. The scope of what follows is decided on evidence, after the walkthrough.
Do you audit Expo apps and AI-generated apps too?
Yes. Bare React Native, Expo, and apps that came out of Cursor, Bolt, Rork or Claude Code. The method is the same: read, profile, measure, then a document that ranks and costs.
What if the app has no visible problem?
An audit is also useful before a funding round, an acquisition or a major upgrade. The diagnosis then says what will hold, what will cost, and in which order to do it.
Will our code be sent to an AI?
On your terms: tools that don’t train on your data, your own tools, or no AI at all. Never a secret or production data in a prompt, and we can put it in the contract.
